No-Bake Caramel Apple Lush is an easy fall dessert with layers of cinnamon graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, butterscotch apple pie filling, and a fluffy Cool Whip topping. Finished with caramel sauce and butterscotch chips, it has all the flavors of a caramel apple in a cool and creamy dessert. Best of all, no oven required.

This recipe is a great make-ahead dessert for Thanksgiving, potlucks, and fall gatherings and it is one of my favorite apple recipes. It’s made in a 9×13-inch baking dish, so there’s plenty to share.
Why You’ll Love This Caramel Apple Lush
- No baking required. Perfect for when you don’t want to turn the oven on.
- Easy shortcut ingredients. Canned apple pie filling, instant butterscotch pudding, and Cool Whip make it incredibly simple.
- Perfect fall flavors. Apple, caramel, cinnamon, and butterscotch are such a good combination.
- Great for a crowd. It’s made in a 9×13-inch pan and can serve 12 people easily.
- Make-ahead friendly. It needs at least 2 hours to chill, making it ideal for entertaining.
4 Delicious Layers
- Graham Cracker Layer– I use cinnamon graham crackers, but you can use plain graham crackers and add a little ground cinnamon.

- Cream Cheese Layer– this layer is wonderfully creamy and rich and is a simple mixture of cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Cool Whip.

- Apple Pie/Butterscotch Pudding Layer– this layer is where the flavor really comes in. It only has 3 ingredients but really packs the flavor. You’ll whisk together a box of instant butterscotch pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups cold milk and then stir in a can of apple pie filling. The butterscotch pudding flavor is really similar to caramel and really complements the apples.

- Cool Whip Topping– It wouldn’t be a layer dessert without a cool and creamy Cool Whip Topping.

Finish it off with some butterscotch chips and a caramel drizzle for even more flavor.
Recommended Equipment
- 9×13-inch baking dish– I love to use a glass baking dish to show off the layers.
- Hand-Held Electric Mixer– I get a lot of use out of my trusty KitchenAid Hand-Held Mixer.
No-Bake Caramel Apple Lush Recipe Tip
