I am SO looking forward to all that food on game day! It helps to have a bit of a strategy when you go in. Start with some cheese and crackers, then veggies and dip (to get the healthy part out of the way). Then move on to all of the hot cheesy dips, and graze on some of the finger foods. Make sure you’ve got a cocktail in there somewhere to balance out the food.
After a few hours, I like to go ahead and eat something a little more substantial, like a sandwich or tacos. This is a good time to grab a few wings too! And when you think you just can’t eat anymore, take a break and just grab a handful of chips or Chex Mix.

Here’s our favorite salsa recipe to make for any party. It’s so quick and easy, and it tastes delicious. Enjoy!
Easy Salsa Recipe – Super Bowl Snack!
Ingredients
- 56 ounces (2 cans) whole, peeled tomatoes drained (I prefer San Marzanos)
- 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves rough chopped
- ½ medium white onion rough chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers seeds stem & membranes removed
- 1 clove garlic skin removed
- 1½ teaspoons kosher salt or coarse sea salt if using table salt use ½ teaspoon
- Juice from 2½ limes
- ¾ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
Instructions

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse until you get the desired consistency (12-18 pulses should do).56 ounces (2 cans) whole, peeled tomatoes, 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves rough chopped, ½ medium white onion rough chopped, 2 jalapeno peppers seeds, 1 clove garlic skin removed, 1½ teaspoons kosher salt or coarse sea salt if using table salt, Juice from 2½ limes, ¾ teaspoon ground cumin, ½ teaspoon granulated sugar

Place the salsa in an airtight container and refrigerate. The salsa is best after one hour of refrigeration and gets even better after 24 hours.
