How To Make

  1. Make the filling. Brown and crumble the ground beef, adding onion about halfway through. Mix in the seasonings and corn and let the mixture cool.
  2. Prepare dough. Roll the dough out into a large rectangle. You want to either stretch it or use a rolling pin to thin it out a little.
  3. Assemble. Spread ground beef mixture evenly across the dough. Sprinkle cheese on top. Roll up jelly-roll style and cut into 12 slices.
  4. Bake. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.

Recipe Tips

  • Instead of using the seasonings (chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper) use a heaping tablespoon of taco seasoning.
  • Ground turkey or ground chicken can be substituted for the ground beef.

Make It Spicy

Either add chopped pickled jalapenos or some cayenne pepper to the taco filling.
